The Golden Jubilee represents the
fifty year anniversary of the Accession to the Throne of Her Majesty
Queen Elizabeth II after the death of her father, King George VI in 1952.
She was crowned on June 2, 1953
and is one of only four Monarchs who
have reigned for more than fifty years and she has probably met more heads of
State than any other person in history.
